  • ½ cup bone broth chicken is milder, beef is richer and usually has more collagen
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar honey, maple syrup, and brown sugar work too
  • pinch sea salt

  • 1 scoop collagen peptides
  • 1 egg yolk

Method
 

  1. Warm the broth and milk. Pour the bone broth and milk into a small saucepan and heat over medium-low until simmering.
  2. Whip the base. Add heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt (plus collagen peptides and egg yolk if using) to a coffee mug and whip with a fork or frother.
