DIY Pumpkin Spice
This is my personal favorite spice blend that I use in all of my PS recipes
I wouldn’t have thought to post this DIY, but every time I post baking/cooking videos on Instagram using my spice blends, I get lots of requests for the recipes. So, here we are!
Pumpkin spice doesn’t actually contain pumpkin – just spice. But it’s the perfect combination to add to all of your favorite from scratch pumpkin recipes, and even lattes, homemade creamers, etc. One of my favorite things about making my own spice blends, aside from the customization aspect – is knowing they’re free of added fillers that don’t need to be there. Just one simple little way to cut down on unnecessary toxins in our food!
I currently order spices in bulk from VitaCost. But depending on what’s most convenient for me at any given time that’s subject to change. In general, I’ve found that purchasing spices in bulk is just more practical since I cook most of our meals at home.

How to make your own PS Blend
I actually like to get out all of my bulk spices and refill my custom blends at one time. One mess, one cleanup!
Measure & combine all ingredients (can be halved for a small batch)
Don’t mind the tiny teddy bear whisk, I have kids and they think its awesome
Easiest thing ever, now you’re all set for fall recipes & now I have permanent documentation of my PS recipe to link when I’m asked to share it!
