Egg Yolk Coffee

Egg yolk coffee is a delicious, pro-metabolic drink for busy moms who don’t have time or desire to eat a full meal first thing in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cream raw if you have access
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 scoop collagen powder
  • freshly brewed organic coffee

Instructions

  • Add cream maple syrup to a coffee mug.
  • Whip with a whisk by hand or use an electric mixer to beat until the mixture is a whipped cream consistency.
  • Add in 1 egg yolk + 1 scoop of grass-fed bovine collagen (I use this one) and whip some more until combined.
  • Pour hot coffee over top.

Notes

Sometimes I substitute tea for coffee and it's still delicious!
